The book is devoted to one of the most difficult and at the same time
traditional question of the theoretical sociology: what are the bases of
sociology? Briefly the main idea of "The Arche of Sociology" can be
expressed in a way that the base of the social sciences is not at all the
fixed transcendental "standpoint" and not the logical connection of ideas
but a historically transforming "angle" formed by the objectivated and the
non-objectivated, that is the fluctuating distinction between the thematised
and the non-thematised in the scientific research whose raison d'etre
produced by practical and socio-political world. It's impossible to find
"the definitive bases" of the sociology. But it doesn't need it. The
sociological knowledge realizes itself in the space formed by the
predicative and the non-predicative. The objectivation of the non-fixed
distinction between the objectivated and the non-objectivated is the main
condition of the social sciences' possibility of truth.
